NECA GIVES BACK: The goal of the NECA Adopt-a-School program is supporting children, teachers and their communities. By promoting the electrical industry and helping schools in need, we can support the future of NECA and grow our workforce, all at the same time. This year, NECA Adopt-a -School will focus on Chicago Hope Academy.

The Chicago Hope Academy is a life preparatory high school that is transforming the underserved areas of Chicago, empowering their students to achieve their full potential and guiding them to be tomorrow's leaders.

The school is taking Career and Technical Science (CTS) and workforce readiness to a new level for their students with their Trades Pathway program. With high-quality learning and personalized attention, students receive immersive career training in vocational fields, through hands-on learning and opportunities for real-world development and skills. Their CTS Building Trades course prepares students who are interested in pursuing a career in the electrical field. A strong emphasis is placed on safe work practices. Students assemble, install, maintain, and test electrical equipment and wiring systems. Upon completion of this course, the students will be prepared to enter an electrical apprenticeship to apply their learned knowledge and further their skillset to become journeyman Electricians.

Silent Auction Details:

The Silent Auction will close at 12:00pm CST on Monday, September 15, 2025.

• Winning bidders will be notified via text immediately upon the close of the auction and the credit card on file will be processed. 
• To maximize our giveback we will be adding a 3.63% to cover credit card fees. 
• Winning bidders will be able to pick up their winnings at the conclusion of the auction. 
  • Please confirm your payment with an auction representative, we will assist you in gathering your winnings.
• If items are not picked up on-site, we will ship to the address on file and charge the shipping fees to the credit card on file. 
  • Shipping will be charged $15 PLUS the market rates for FedEx, USPS, or UPS.
